Online
Interactive safety meetings are generally 25-30 minute
on-line topics viewed to keep employees alerted to work-related
exposures. Topics are about health and safety issues
that really exist on the job. They cover work practices,
machinery, tools, equipment, materials, attitudes, and
anything else that may cause or contribute to a work-related
accident or illness.
The
construction industry is specifically required, in many
states, to conduct safety meetings or equivalent, with
their crews at least every 10 working days, and for
tunneling crews at least weekly. It is recommended that
all other industries require employees to view safety
topics at least monthly.
These
on-line meetings are best viewed at the convenience
of the employee. Viewing records will be supplied stating
the date, time, and subjects viewed. These records are
to be maintained for the duration of each viewer's employment.
Online
