Fall Arrest Systems

Course Description:

This course provides an overview of state-of-the-art technology for fall protection. Topics covered include the principals of fall protection. the components of a fall arrest system the limitations of fall arrest equipment. a review of the new OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1926. 500-503 including an overview of appendix A-E a discussion of scaffolding. ladders. personnel baskets. and a ANSI overview of Scissors Lifts Cherry Pickers and JLG's.
